No More Fox-Ghost!
Those of you who know Weston well, know that there have been very FEW times that he has actually called his dad, dad. For some reason, unknown to us, he has always called Ryan 'Fox-Ghost' and himself 'Squirrel-Turtle'. We really do not know where it came from but thought it was so cute that I think we actually egged it on. Well at school, as they should, they have been teaching Weston to call people by their proper names so on March 20th (Ryan's Birthday) he started calling Ryan dad. I think, at first, it actually made Ryan feel kind of bad. Not because he is learning but because it sort of feels like he is finally growing up sniff, sniff. We don't really like the idea that kids grow up and there parents are no longer 'cool' so we were hoping Weston wouldn't do such things! No such luck!

I have to say, it makes me sad too!!!! He is such a doll and I love him so much!!! Its sad to see kids grow up...it just doesn't seem like they stay little long enough!
How did he come up with those names? Thats funny. Maybe after this little session of saying proper names in school he will resort back to them. Maybe you could encourage it by calling Ryan "Snail Dog" or "Ant Badger" or " Chicken shoes" or...well I could go on but you get the point.
